I have the ASG 7.301 and just started tightening up the Web filter.
What a headache!!!! Just by checking off the Suspicious and Uncategorized.
Now I understand that every site cant be categorized and its to my benefit to block them for security reasons. But this Surf Protection seems to be a real joke when well known and established companies are blocked!!
Example: ADP.com a national payroll processing company is uncategorized?!?!? The same for a lot of other sites. I have gone to bluecoat.com and checked the sites against there database and they had most of the categorized.
I know, I know, if its too much problem then dont check off the uncategorized. Ok I am done venting and can be constructive now.
#1 I looked up Surf Protection and it doesnt seem to be a company. Who provides the Web database for Asturo?
#2 Is there a way I can lookup a website and see if its classified and as what?
#3 Is there a way to uncategorize a website or suggest a category for a uncategorized site?
I also have a suggestion. User defined categories. Let me create a top level category and move the subcategories I want there. Thus giving me the option make a category even more specific.
I know I can rename the exisiting top levels and move the subs from one to another. Which I will do if I have to.
