http Proxy 99% CPU v7.301

Hello,

with enabled http proxy the cpu load goes up to 99% within 1 minute. If I disable the proxy the cpu load goes back to 1 %.

Any idea?

  • Hard to say with no additional information.... is there anything interesting in the HTTP Proxy log when this happens?

  • If you are using anti-virus scanning on the proxy, try switching to single scan or completely turning off AV scanning while leaving the proxy on, you may have a bad AV pattern causing problems.

Also, ask Bruce asked- is there anything interesting in the log?
  • Yes, yesterday I switched to single scan, and since this time the cpu load is between 1 und 3 %. So I also believe that there is no problem with the proxy but with the av engine.
