eDir -auth + http emails ::.??

Well, hope the topic somewhat describes the issue;
fact; Customer is running ASG 7.2xx so far, uses eDirectory for SSO which actually works well.. 

But,, annoying issue;
When openening some email's, they get asked from within their mailprogram
( Groupwise ) to sign into the Astaro = SSO not working from within the mailclient.....

Any tip's/ideas were to search ..?, or is this "by design" and not a fault..?

    Hmm... I don't use / know much about Groupwise... are these emails that have html links in them?  Does GroupWise use it's own browser to render links, or does it use IE or Firefox, etc.?  If GroupWise uses it's own browser, it could be that it doesn't support SSO... maybe someone with more Novell experience can chime in here...

    Since this is a customer, they undoubtedly have Gold or Platinum Maintenance; I'd definitely start a case with Astaro support so they can hash this out.  These forums are great, and some Astaro personnel do "graze" here, but for guaranteed support, I'd start a case.

    Well, as a reference; we haven't seen this occuring with customer's using Novell's BM server and SSO,, so..that maybe means something..

    I do belive that they have internal viewers for fileformat, but use both mapi and IE (settings at least) for internetaccess..

    But,, true, supportcontract is there, so it might be worth doing a SR and see if they can find something.

    I too am having the same issue. I opened a case with astaro support for this as well as additional issues having to do with SSO. I got 1, one, a single, uno e-mail from them 4 hours later telling me to check the sync interval. I responded with a question and a request for a phone call to address this issue as well as the others. 24 hours later and no response, I just closed the call. What's the point of paying for support if you can't get it?

    Update on 10.17.08.. Got a call from Astaro support today, A WEEK LATER!!!! letting me know they have escalated my support ticket to the next tier of support. Come on, a week and that was several days after I closed the case. 
     I doubt I'll be selling any more Astaro boxes.
