Hi all,
I'm experiencing some strange (to me strange...) behaviour of an ASG425a, v 7.202:
I configured the standard (default) Proxy profile to block site xyz.com etc.
After configuring a new proxy action (blocking only site test.com) I created one additional profile especially for one IP Range - its Fallback action is the (new) no_blocked_sites action.
No my problem:
I could not activate this profile unless I assigned at least the default filter assignment. Having assigned this filter assignment I tried it and it just used the default profile.
Finally I added a new filter assignment without ANY settings except for filter action = no_content_blocked (No users, no time events....). Now it worked and users from the special IP Range could access all default blocked sites!
Why is this? Viewing the sample graphic I should not have to assign a filter assignment but only use the Proxy Profiles fallback action!
Anyone an idea??
Thank You!!
Marcus
PS: Is it documented behaviour that transparent mode enables explicit proxy access (defined in client browser) too??
