I recently upgraded to version 7.2. I am experiencing an issue with content filtering. I have enabled the http proxy, set the proxy to standard mode, allow access for all internal networks and assigned a strict content filter. Then I created two proxy profiles. One profile for teachers and the other for students. I have also created two filter assignments. The teachers assignment is attached to a liberal filter action and the the student assignment to a strict filter. The profiles allow access to all internal networks and operate in eDirectory SSO mode. It appears the workstations will use which ever proxy profile is first and ignores the group membership of the filter assignment. If the student profile is first, then the workstation uses a strict filter assignment even though I am logged in as teacher and the teacher account is in the group assigned the the liberal filter assignment. If I list the teacher proxy profile first in the order, then the workstation uses the liberal filter assignment regardless of which account I logged into the workstation as.
Also, users are intermittently required by their browser to authenticate rather than using the credentials used to login to the workstation. It seems hit or miss as to when this happens and is difficult to duplicate.
