Version 7.2 - Astaro blocks Website functionality

Hi all, we have an Astaro Web Security Gateway 220 and we use it as a Web Proxy. Problem is that for that webiste some functionality is not working even though they are on all exception lists (content and filter etc). An example would be to go to http://www.airberlin.com , enter the destinations and then search for flights. With the Proxy active i just get an error in the status bar of the browser, it naturally works without the proxy entry.

what am i missing here?

    Works here, through the HTTP Proxy (in standard mode), no exceptions defined for the site.  Check your IPS and IM/P2P logs, see if it's triggering a rule there... if so, disable or set the affected rule(s) to log only.

    works here as well. Transparent proxy with all the IPS/IM/P2P rules in place. Internet epxlorer7, Astaro 7.2

    ok, got the culprit. the IM/P2P where causing the problem. deactivated them and the sites are working normally again. we wanted to try out this new feature but it doesn't seem to be working right.

    It does have some issues with false positives... what rules did the website "set off" that caused the problem?  Noticed you have a 220 ... since you likely have Gold or Platinum Maintenance on that unit, I'd submit a support ticket to Astaro with details so they can correct the issue permanently.

    Hi Jerry,
    what are your settings in IM/P2P.

    I am using the http proxy in standard mode with some IM/P2P set to allow, others block.

    I was able to access the site your are having trouble with and do some simple navigation off the first page.
