2 AV Engines?

Howdy all,

Back to Astaro after a brief stint with CheckPoint Safe@Office box...

I have noticed in HTTP Proxy if I choose to use the 2 virus engines all pages are blocked and the error states no AV database. If I go back to 1 AV engine, this work as they should.

Have I missed something here? Is there a change that I am unaware of???

I would appreciate any feedback!

Thanks!

  • Hi Ray,
if this is a fresh installation the only thing I can think of that the installation failed.
I note you have a question in the beta forum. I suspect that the answer to both threads is that you have some unsupported hardware in the ASG.

  • I've not seen that before; I'd suggest a reinstall using the latest release ISO, Version 7.103, and up2dating that to 7.104.  I suspect as the other poster does that something's bad in your installation.

  • Yea thanks guys!

I ended up reinstalling on my old reliable Dell box and all is again happy. My "power box" power supply was starting to fail and although the install completed, there were issues that manifested after the fact.

    All is now great again!

My thanks to both of you!
