Host not found across VPN

We have two sites connected via 2 astaro boxes using site to site vpn. I'm trying to get to a internal website from the branch office. The website is hosted in a our HQ. If the HTTP Proxy is on (In transparent mode) I get the error "Host not Found". If I switch off the proxy the page gets displayed ok. Any ideas how I can get around this issue.

    Sounds like a DNS issue on the Astaro... do you have either a route request for the internal website DNS name, using internal forwarders, or a static entry set on the Astaro?  You'll need to implement one of these...
