test web site for me

Hi All

Is there someone who is running http proxy in transparent mode, that can run a little test for me.

We have ASG 7.101 running transparent proxy and are having trouble with the following site
http://www.ccspublishing.com/  it's a medical information site.
on the home page top left there is a login link, normally on accessing this link and popup login box appears, if you cancel the login you then get redirected to a subscription page.

here we go straight to the subscription page and never see the login box.

I've tested the site from various other location and it works fine, but none of them are using Astaro.

    I see the login box but it's quickly shunted to the subscription page.  I think the site has a coding issue?

    Interesting... when I use 7.101 proxy in standard mode (I don't use transparent), and click on that login link, it goes to a login PAGE.. then rests only 2 or 3 seconds and jumps to that subscription link... with the proxy off, and my temp direct access packet filter enabled, I get a login DIALOG BOX instead of a page... I'm testing with IE7 on Vista 32bit.

    I would say there may be two possibilities here; one could be a coding issue with the website that makes it work differently when it detects it is being accessed via a proxy.  The other would be some sort of issue with the Astaro proxy.

    If you have support, I'd open a case on it.  I'd also check with the webmaster of that website.

    FWIW, in FireFox 2.0.0.11, on XP, I get the login dialog box with or without my (non-Astaro) Squid proxy.
