Webadmin failed to start

Hi Group

I don’t know whether this is the right group, but here goes.

I am running 7.101 on Vmware esx.
The webadmin crashed while I was working on it, and now I can’t log back in.
I received an email notification that webadmin was restarted, but still no go.
If I try to do a manual restart “/etc/init.d/httpd restart” it tells me it has failed to start.
If I look in /var/log/httpd it tells me the following:

httpd[17952]: [error] [client 127.0.0.1] access to /var/webadmin/ failed, reason: SSL connection required

Is there another log to look in?

    There seems to be a bug here.
    I made a fresh install yesterday and loaded my latest backup to get up and running again.
    Today, when working on the end user portal, it happened again. Changing the port number on the portal made webadmin crash and never get back online.

    So I found the problem. You should be careful what port numbers you use for the end user portal. I used 8080. Don’t :-)
    If you log in to the console via ssh, you can change webadmin settings by typing cc. Nice to know, when you lock yourself out :-)
