FTP over HTTP Proxy Problem after installing 7.101

Hi there,

yesterday I set up a 7.1 in a VM which shall primarily work as URL filter and Antivirus proxy.

This worked fine until I installed the patch to 7.101 what now prevents downloading files from ftp servers over the standard http proxy (e.g. ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/2900-Software-T1213.zip). 
The error message is: (Not Found). Indeed, if I browse to ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/, it shows no error message but an empty ftp directory. If I browse it without the Astaro proxy all the files appear correctly!

I also tried it with disabled Antivirus but this has no influence.

Does anybody have an advice or the same experience?

As the problem appeared after the patch I dare it is also disappearing with another patch?!

    I've got the same problem but it goes a bit further back than v7.101.  For me, it's bad as a section of my users log in via a web control panel on a remote website.  Once they log into the Control Panel, one of the options initiates a ftp sessions over Http (port 80).  As the proxy is filtering Http over the proxy, the Proxy is blocking the ftp session.  Nothing that I did resolved the issue.  Response from Astaro was to use a FTP program for the ftp sessions.

    I've received the following from Astaro support:
    Checking in on our QA notes there are some sites which are affected where the display for the ftp site cannot be seen when using the http proxy. This is being noted as should be addressed for the next up2date 7.102 to correct behavior.

    So, it is a confirmed bug.  I'm now trying to find out if there's a workaround.

    We had this issue on a customer site but didn't get too far down the road with Astaro Support. 

    The customer used a website where they logged in and were re-directed to https. Then they clicked to download a document from an FTP site link, where the problems would occur and they would get the "not found" error messages.

    We switched the FTP proxy on, left FTP as an available service in the HTTP proxy - not sure which of these two is relevant, once we got it working we couldn't afford to break it again - and then in IE Tools | Internet Options | Connections | LAN Settings | Advanced we have unticked "Use the same proxy server for all protocols" and removed the proxy server details from the FTP entry, so FTP is unproxied in IE. 

    This worked for us, so hope it helps!
