You can filter on IP adresses but when you have a lot of users/ip's it's a huge job. I don't know what kind of webserver you're running but for example, with Apache you can use the ".htaccess"-file so the user has to fill in a loginname & password.

Yes, It's possible filter https sites with the HTTP with the content filter in astaro. I need refuse access for all the https sites and authorize only the sites that I want. It's possible with astaro?
I had asked astaro support exactly this the other day and they said it depends on the https site and the type of HTTP Proxy you are using.
Basically if they type in the URL as https and your using a transparent proxy I think the answer was no. Some websites however if you go to http://www.website.com and then click on certain kinds of https links they are filtered when using the transparent proxy.
