Given the new proxy, I was wondering if somebody else here has the capability to test something out for me or runs a similar environment.
In previous versions of Astaro, using Squid as the http proxy, there was one little bug that was something of an annoyance and I'm wondering if it's fixed now.
The situation is this, we have a separate edge device for VPN, with the Astaro box as an inline device between this edge device and the internal LAN. We have an intranet web site hosted on the LAN, referenced by a single name CNAME DNS record (e.g. the URL would be http://intranet). When we first got the astaro, VPN users couldn't access the intranet site by this name, only by IP address until Astaro support had me enter the machine that hosted the intranet site into the http proxy bypass list. Apparently it was just an odd bug that Squid had with CNAME records.
I'm just wondering if this issue is now resolved with the new proxy and if I can disable this workaround.
