"I" really like v7, but since neither I nor US Astaro support can get my HTTP proxy to work right I have switched back to my old v6 install to quell all the unrest my new toy generated.
I'm sure it's something on my end, but I have no idea what it could be. There were issues with my packet filter rules that does not seem to bother v6 that evidently affects v7 adversly. Not really sure how those two things tie in, since I thought the Proxy stuff happened before the packet filters kicked in.
Either way, looks like a Spring Break project since my Christmas break has already been planned. Hopefully by then the guys at Astaro will have added a nifty little black/white list importer so I don't have to manualy re-enter all of that along with the 900+ network/group definitions. I'm seriously leaning towards a complete re-do from scratch. Need to get all those "v4 update" references out of there anyway.
