additional info:
I normally have no problem to download pdf files and no problems with t-mobile.de.

I can view the file http://www.t-mobile.de/downloads/iphone/tarifdetails.pdf

But I have the same problem with http://www.t-mobile.de/downloads/iphone/bedienungsanleitung.pdf

I have exactly the same problem with firefox.

Internet explorer give "404 - Seite nicht gefunden" in both cases (with and without proxy).

Even without Astaro, though. Some PDF files are on servers that do not work well with Adobe Acrobat. And the problem was not consistent. On some servers several retries would result in a success.

As I did not like this behavior, I set Firefox to save the PDF instead of open the PDF. This has worked flawlessly (so far, eh?).

It makes it one more step to open the PDF file, but it removes a lot of the BS from the equation.
