Just made the change to v7, finding some things that I am unsure of.
With v6, when you entered a site into the b/w lists, if you formatted it wrong it would tell you that the format was wrong.
With v7 (beta) it appears to take it, it just doesn't work. Is there any checking for proper formatting of the url with v7?
For example, our region provides us webmail access to our Exchange accounts. The filter actually has it in the proper category (webmail) and our users are blocked. (webmail is blocked).
I entered the line "*.ourwebmailserver.net" into the whitelist, and it took it, but of course it still would not allow us to access the site. After _finally_ noticing that the entry was incorrect, I changed it to ".*ourwebmailserver.net" and it worked fine.
I realize it was my fault for putting it in wrong, but I am almost sure that v6 would have caught that and told me that I had input the URL incorrectly.
Or was I just imagining that?
