Help accessing http://ftp.psanda.co.uk:8866/pas

Please help, I'm using Astaro 7.011 and am wanting to configure the firewall to access http://WebSiteAddress:8866/path via the http proxy, so for example http://ftp.psanda.co.uk:8866/pas.

Note that this is a web site I'm trying to access, even though its accessed via ftp.psanda.co.uk.

We could previously access this via Astaro 6, but since the upgrade to 7, its stopped working.

Any ideas !!!!

Regards
Sam Conroy

  • Add a service definition for TCP port 8866 (if it's not already defined) in Definitions / Services.  Go to Web Security / HTTP / Advanced and add the 8866 service to the list of Allowed Target Services.

  • Thanks Bruce,

Already had the service setup for port 8866, as you say just added it to the Allowed Target Services.

I'll remember this one in future.

  • You're welcome!

Unfortunately little (if any) of the HTTP Proxy configuration in Version 6 migrates to Version 7... the allowed target services is one of the items that don't migrate.
