How to use http proxy without nat ip address?

  • Not sure about your question; if you are asking if you can use the Astaro Proxy if it's not doing the NAT, the answer is yes; you can put the Astaro in Bridging Mode, in between your external ISP router or other firewall and the local network.  Put the HTTP proxy in Transparent mode, and all traffic will run through that.  You can also set the Proxy to Standard mode and point all the web browsers on the network to it (we use Group Policy for this).

    I want to have http proxy in astaro, but i don't want local ip addresses be nat, i want nat ip address in another system that is gateway of astaro.(http proxy without nat)
  • There are some things to consider; if you want to use the other security features of the Astaro, such as IPS, etc., put it in bridging mode. If you are in bridging mode, you can run HTTP Proxy in Transparent mode... or, either way (bridging or NATted), you can run the Proxy in Standard mode, which only requires that you configure your web browser to point at the proxy.  You can do what you want with this.
