HTTP Profiles and 7.009

Hello,

I have installed v7.009 upgrade to my home environment and my HTTP Profiles no longer work.

I am no longer prompted to enter a username and password when accessing the Internet.  In addition, I have unlimited access to all sites and this allows my kids to access information that I would like to protect them from.

What has changed in these rules that I need to be aware of.  I do see that there are changes to the formatting of URL's.  However, I don't see this as the cause of the problem.  My fallback action is Block All (a filter action that blocks all sites).

Has anyone encountered a similar issue and a fix that will address it (maybe I missed something in the release notes).

    does it work if you change the Proxy mode in the 'Global' Tab to User authentication and leave the Users field empty?

    Hi Sven,

    Thanks for the reply.  This does cause the pop-up box to display.  However, none of the rules in the HTTP Profiles are applied.  Once authenticated, users can access any website.

    I am wondering what could have possibly changed to allow this.
