Hi.
I have a issue with Astaro V7 (This was actually also a issue in my V6 installation) but now I need to find a resolution.
I have the HTTP Proxy in non transparent mode and I try to FTP to
any FTP server in the internet:
FTP-CONTROL and FTP-DATA are allowed on the proxy (Port 20+21)
(I added FTP-DATA to allowed protocols after installation)
* I can connect to a FTP server using a FTP client (like filezilla) but a LIST command does not work nor does a data transfer. I tried with and without passive mode without luck. I tired the setting (I forgot the name) to help
with the passive mode on astaro without luck. Any thoughts?
* I tried a workaround like directly NAT FTP through it works but without name resolution of course --> also not the right way.
* I tired FTP Proxy couldnt get this one to work at all (using filezilla and port 2121).
* I checked support forums / admin manual / knowledge base.... no luck
I am out of ideas .... any thoughts?
What FTP clients are known to work well with Astaro?
Any help or thoughts are greatly apprechiated
