Content Filter category missing V7.007

Please add the content filter category Peer-to-Peer to the WebAdmin GUI.

Found a couple of users attempting to bypass restrictions using the site yousendit.com. I went to http://www.astaro.com/tool/urlreport and found that for V7 it is categorized as Peer-to-Peer. On my Astaro 220, I went to Web Security>HTTP>Content Filter Categories and I find no listing for Peer-to-Peer. Further research shows that there are a ton of other sites for the same purpose, all listed in the web filtering site test, but I have to block one-by-one because the category is missing in V7.

There needs to be direct correllation between the sub-categories in WebAdmin and the reported categories in the web filtering site test.

This has also been submitted as a support case. Posted here just in case Gert is lurking. [:)]

Please note that on v7 the groups displayed are still like "Cobion" but "Surf Control" is used ;-)

Had some similar issue.

The group "Peer-to-Peer" is called (or included) in "'Communication Services".

I hope that they will change the groups....

Thanks. That info helped.

Worst case scenarios, they could at least post a document showing which Cobion category matches to which Surf Control category in the kb.

Hi,

you should have some pre-configured groups for filtering.
In one of them is a filter categorie called "Communication Services".

That's the Cobion-Name.

v7 uses now Surf Control, and they are using other names.

In that case "Peer-to-Peer" for Surf Control is equal to "Comm. Services" on your Astaro.

Would it be great?

PS Maybe it's a dumb question but I'm a bit new with Astaro.
