HTTP Proxy download very slow...

Hi Guys... [:)]

I have a Problem with the HTTP Proxy and the FTP Proxy.
When i download a File from www.hp.com the download's are very slow, max. 5-15kb/s... i have a SDSL Connection 8Mbit Sync.
HTTP Proxy are in the Transparent Mode.

At home, i have a ADSL 8Mbit and the download are very fast (no UTM, directly to the ADSL Modem), so i think is not a Problem from the HP Website.

Someone has an idea?!

Astaro V7.006 on HP Proliant DL320 G5, Dual Core Xeon and 2 GB RAM, 2x 80GB SATA /RAID 1.

    Try to disable the HTTP Caching (Web Security » HTTP » Advance) and see if it helps.
    My system work much faster and much smoother after disabling the Cache.
    It seems ver 7 still a bit buggy... [;)]

    Also change Anti-virus scanning to Single Scan. Speeds things up a bit:

    Web Security -> HTTP -> Anti-virus

    Thanks for the Help, i have tested with disable Caching and the HTTP Proxy Anti Virus Engines.
    But it's not really faster...the download's are 10-20 kb/s...

    Please, can you start (testing) a Download from the HP.com over HTTP Proxy from Astaro V7, is the download fast?!
    Is there only a Problem with my Astaro V7 HTTP Proxy or is that a general Problem?!

    It's a redirection link to FTP... (FTP Proxy disable/Enable it's the same Problem)

    Download speed: 50-80 kbs.  no problem

    I recall having some problem downloading from HP.
    Try to disable temporary virus protection and see if it helps.

    Thanks Goldy for testing... do you have the HTTP Proxy in the Transparent Mode?!
    I can disable the Anti Virus Engines, is not better unfortunately... [:(]
    When i turn on the FTP Proxy, i cannot download on hp.com ?! If the FTP Proxy disable, it's okay, but very slow....

    Yes. 

    Do you have the same issue with other sits like MS Update sits?

    Try t download something else from the same sit and see what happens...
