The acrobat autoupdate feature does not play well with proxies; we disable the feature and deploy updates via Group Policy. One can also configure a bypass packet filter rule to allow the autoupdate program to grab the updates without using the proxy.

TXGARobert, I've been told a few times over the past few months "soon"... I don't know any more than that... it certainly is a critical feature in some environments, we've had customers we've had to hold off of upgrading because of it... while most of our customers are corporate in nature, the executive always seem to want streaming video, and there's really not a good way to enable it (unless some poor admin wants to spend half his day whitelisting entire domains) without the regular expression whitelist / blacklist. The sooner the better.
