[7.006] HTTP Proxy Fails

Don't know what happened this morining, but I canit seem to browse the internet when the Antivirus is turned on in the HTTP Proxy. I keep getting:

error (in module 0)

In the HTTP Proxy logs I am getting this error message:

2007:07:31-13:02:54 (none) httpproxy[25280]: id="3458" severity="error" sys="System" sub="av" name="Failed to initialize virus database" scanner="css" database="/var/db/authentium"

Can someone help?

    Sounds like the Authentium AV database has become corrupted. There should be a way from the CLI to force a redownload of the newest one, but I don't know what it is. One of the more Linux savvy here should be able to give you the proper commands.  Or you can give Astaro support a buzz.  They're usually quite speedy with responses.
     
    One thing I can suggest trying is go to Web Security and in HTTP>Anti-Virus and/or HTTP Profiles>Filter Actions, depending on your setup, switch from Dual Scan to Single Scan mode. This should turn off Authentium temporarily. You'll still have ClamAV, so will still have some protection.
