AD authentication and user=""

I have V7 set up using AD authentication.  I go to user1's machine and enter a site they should have access to.  In the log I see where user="user1" as you would expect.  However, on some sites, but not all, all I see is user="". These are always denied even if they should have access to them. Why is the username not being populated?

Also, has anyone got the HTTP proxy to work with AD groups instead of usernames?

    i setup astaro for AD authentication but the box keep return "join domain fail" everytime i try to join it to the domain.

    i followed the manual too, by specifying the netbios name, admin account and password, etc and it still fail to join the domain

    I recall having a few issues with this the first time that I set it up due to case sensitivity.
     
    On your admin workstation, open up the Active Directory Domains and Trusts MMC. Right-click on your domain and choose properties. Try using whatever is listed as the pre-windows 2000 domain name. Try lowercase, if that fails, try upper case.

    I have some issue with Astaro and AD also 
    I joined it to the domain without a problem; I have configured groups in AD
    with different filter assignments and filter actions for each group 
    The problem is when a user that is not a member in any defined group 
    but is a member in the AD users tries to log in it is authenticated and can open any site even though the default filter action blocks everything, I try to configure a filter action that's block everything also and put it as a fallback action it didn't work  the user still can open everything?

    Well I tried to put just one allowed website in the block everything action that I've created and it worked! And even in the default action without adding one site to the allowed sites it was not working!
