Ladies and Gents,
A customer commented that they were getting no webpages blocked on spyware detection. I checked 5 customer firewalls, and they were also not getting pages blocked because of spyware detection.
Any ideas on how to prove this works? Has your firewall blocked any pages due to spyware detected? If so which pages did it block on?
The only ways I can think to prove that it really does work is to trash a VM by surfing bad webpages through Astaro with only spyware detection switched on. Or alternatively have normal settings and see what spyware Spybot and AdAware pick up and ask Astaro why these are not detected by them.
I think that if it actually does work, then the page is probably first blocked by Virus protection or it is blocked because the category is disallowed such as warez, nudity, race-hate, etc.
Any thoughts or suggestions, please?
