Block Websites by IP address

Version 6.304
Standard Proxy mode.
I need to block some sites by ip address and not url. Obviously using packet filter will not work and URL blacklist does not work as it is not a url. There has to be an easy way to do this. What am I missing?

Thanks

  • 1. Create a network definition for each of the IP addresses you wish to block.
    2. Create a network group containing the definitions you created in step 1.
    3. Create a packet filter drop rule containing the network group you created in step 2.
    4. Move the packet filter drop rule you created in step 3 up high in your packet filter list, above any rules that passes traffic.
