Time managed profiles block all traffic

I have implemented the profiles as per Gert's instructions with an allow and default block.
I have allow managed by time definitions, but the traffic just drops straight through to the default block.
If I put an allow all in the traffic goes through the profile correctly.

I tried a time definition of Mon-Sun 0000-2359 just to ensure that the time being used wasn't in some strange time zone, but that didn't work, again substituting an "allow" traffic went through.


The time manage function works in the packet filter, so I do have some limited control.

    I would think not, has anyone looked?

    I know without some decent reports it is very hard to determine whether the ASG rules are working correctly.

    Not being able to filter the packet filter live log is annoying.

    What you're looking for just gets flushed past with all the normal blocked traffic [:(]

    Hi Simon,
    some decent reports like v6 would make debugging a lot easier.

    I now believe that the time managed functions work.

    But to get this far, I had to replace a faulty power supply, move the whole lot to a larger box, new power supply much larger, do a complete re-install from v7.002 ISO because the motherboard lost a NIC. Might be damage to one of the PCI slots when the power supply died and one memory slot.

    I then re-arranged all the time slots in the profile, but think I might have to do further work on the time slots. Looks like you can't combine days with similar times, but must have a logical flow through of Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun with a further subset within the day.
