Hello all,
We have ASL V6 set up and configured to do eDirectory SSO against one of our NetWare 6.5 servers. This all works okay.
Here is the problem I'm having.
We are a school district and there are many different users that log into workstations throughout the day. Teachers are in a profile and students are in another one.
When a student logs in everything is fine, they browse the Internet using the correct profile. When a teacher logs in the next period, possibly 5-10 min. later, they are using the student profile, if that workstation stays logged in but doesn't browse the Internet they eventually start using the correct profile.
I'm fairly sure this is not a NDS, or LDAP related problem. I can query the LDAP server using Softerra's LDAP browser and the correct user is returned (the teacher) so the cache must be in ASL someplace.
I can only assume at this point that ASL caches LDAP queries. If I could shorten the length of the cache to 5-10 min. this would be very helpful.
If anyone could shed some light on this I would be very grateful.
Thanks
