[7.004] .wmv files don't get scanned by http proxy

Hi,

can somebody please tell me why ASG doesn't scan .wmv-files with the internal virus scanner?
Do you have the same problem?? Can you reproduce the same behiavour???

    Are you sure that the size of the file is not below 1 MB?
    Undere 1 MB it is not scanned.

    All files are scanned for virus, if it is configured (while maximum scanning size is not reached). 

    But for sometimes the download page is not displayed. This depends on the content type of the file and the file size.

    How do you test the scanning of a wmv file?

    All right, this is an important information. But how comes this? Does anybody know on what file types the displaying of the status bar / download page depends?

    Maybe ASL won't interfere with wmv-files to not mess up with streaming media.
    The Proxy with its different content filtering functions can be a real pain in the ass if you want to allow streaming media. So IF you want to allow your users to consume webcasts then you really don't want content or virus filtering functions to interfere. Believe me...
