We went live about 2 weeks ago, switching about 1200 users to the ASG from Border Manager. We decided to use standard auth because it is simple and works. The only caveat is how IE doesn't reuse credentials when you open multiple instances. Firefox does.
To recreate the problem with IE:
Open IE and attempt to access internet website. Authenticate with HTTP Proxy and all is well.
Open ANOTHER IE by clicking "the big blue E" incon, try to access the internet and you are prompted again by the HTTP Proxy.
How Firefox works:
Open Firefox and attempt to access internet website. Authenticate with HTTP Proxy and all is well.
Open ANOTHER Firefox by clicking Firefox icon and you have access to the internet without re-authenticating.
Does anyone know why IE works this way?
