Mail and Proxy Profiles

I have Astaro v7.002.

I created HTTP Profiles > Filter Actions > for the kids which blocks some content
and using proxy authentication. Everything works fine except mail is not working. It is not possible to send or get mail. Do I have to create a separate rule to get and send mail in the packet filter or should the proxy handle this?

I am using mail from ISP and also using Imap.

Damibla,
have you enabled the pop3 proxy? Don't use the prefetch option yet.

Yes I did tried that also but still no mail. In the pop3 proxy I allowed the workstations from the kids to be sure they have access.
But is it really necessary to enable pop3 proxy? I am not running a home mail server.

I am using Thunderbird (client mail) => smtp.xs4all.nl (ISP) => imap.xs4all.nl (ISP).
