Http Proxy erver Errors breaking SuSE Linux Update

I've been fighting this for some time and there is a lot of misdirection on the internet about this.

Here's what's going on:

1) I'm using the http proxy with authentication (Active Directory to a Win 2003 Server backend)
2) I've added exclusions for all the update repository sites in the Astaro http config which should remove authentication and all other requirements.
3) My OpenSuse 10.2 machines cannot reach ANY of their repositories for updates.

The http proxy logs show the following errors:

Pity the screen doesn't turn blue.
