HTTP Proxy, cant get to one site.

We have the astaro 220 v. 6.303 and we have a http proxy set up. all traffic is denied and users must use to proxy to get to the outside. all websites work except for one. One that we need very badly. Its our own server that we have at a data center. This server has 2 ips with 2 sites on it. 

I have my computer set to by pass the proxy. I cannot get to this second site. I get a Bad Request (Invalid Host name). When I set myself to use the proxy I can get to the site, but its functionality is limited. From my house ( no astaro what so ever ) I can use the site fully with no problems. 

So why when I have my computer set to bypass the proxy with full internet capabilities am I not able to get to this site? But users who have to use the proxy can get there but have limited functionality?

    Well.... you're asking us to guess about the make up of your network, but I'd look at how DNS is resolving on your internal network before anything else.

    Our network isnt that complex. Internet comes into the astaro, proxy, packet rules etc, then to the work station. Most users HAVE to use the proxy, I do not. I can not see this site, they can but with little functionality. I took out the DNS listing, put it back, added forwarders, ping resolves the names, nslookup resolves the ip from the name. changed my network settings to use an outside dns. Anything else you need to know?

    How does your DNS name resolution work?

    A typical setup for an office network would be to have a local, in-house DNS server. The address of this DNS server is then provided to the client PCs from a local DHCP server.

    The local DNS server would point to the Astaro firewall as its DNS forwarder.
    The DNS proxy in the Astaro firewall would point to the DNS servers provided by your Internet service provider.

    Set up this way, DNS lookups should work properly.
