HTTP proxy and Opera

Has anyone managed to get Opera 9.10 to work with the HTTP proxy in ASG 7.002?

There are some sites (eg Google, and the Opera home site) that I can connect to, but others seem to start loading, but then just sit there waiting for a long, long time (I usually get bored and click on cancel after about five or six minutes) - eg. http://news.bbc.co.uk

This version of Opera works fine with the proxy in ASL 6.303, while IE6 and Firefox work OK with ASG 7.002. Opera 9.0 has the same problem as 9.1 - I haven't got any earlier versions I can test.

Has anyone else had similar experiences, or has anyone found a fix for this problem?

    I don't know about Opera --- but I have had similar issues with Firefox and IE 6 / 7 ... only certain combinations of sites and browsers seem to cause the issue.  I found that (at least in my case, and about a half dozen other cases on this Board alone) the P2P Blocking rules were causing the problem.  Try disabling the P2P Blocking feature and see if that helps (or alternatively, open up the IPS live log and try hitting a few sites, you'll probably see some WinMX and / or Edonkey hits)... the P2P blocking feature is nothing more than a menu / checkbox front end for some IPS rules, and the rules seem to be causing a lot of false positives.  I've had to set the P2P filtering to Allow for both WinMX and Edonkey on every 7.x system I've had to tinker with.
