TrendMicro and HTTP Proxy

Trend Micro gets its updates through port 80 which goes through the proxy that I have in transparent mode. I can't seem to set up exceptions that will let Trend download its updates. Does any one else have Trend that has figured the update problem out? Can you clue me in?

    Trend micro AV updates over port 80 using http. I have entered the trendmicro.com domain to the exceptions list in the proxy settings, I use the proxy in transparent mode. I also entered the IP addresses to the exception list. 
    When I watch the http live log I still see the fw-notify being sent when trend micro is trying to update. What else can I do so trend micro AV can update?
