Media Streaming with Trans Proxy in ASG 7.001?

Has anyone figured out how to get media streaming working with a transparent HTTP proxy in ASG 7.001? I'm aware of a number of posts with solutions for ASG 6, as well as knowledgebase articles, but as far as I can tell, none of them work with ASG 7.

There's apparently no proxy whitelist in ASG 7. I tried adding a site to the exceptions list, but it didn't help. Even if it had, that isn't a useful solution since streaming media can appear on any site.

Here's one example of a page where the streaming media (QuickTime, in this case) doesn't work:

    What port does the streaming video use, 80 I suspect? If not put a port in the allowed list and see what happens.

    I wasn't sure which ports, so for testing purposes, I added a rule to the very top of my packet filters that was "from internal network, any service, to any network", which should have covered everything, but it didn't help.

    As William noted above, turning off the proxy seems to be the only thing that works. This is unfortunate, since that eliminates a whole class of network security functions if you want to be able to use streaming media. I wonder if Astaro is working on a solution? This is a possible "deal breaker" for my company in their consideration of ASG, although we're probably six to nine months away from buying something. (I'm using ASG software with the home user license as a learning/evaluation tool.)

    I think the proxy gets first grab at the packets.
