I'm trying understand how to use profiles for surf protection using the transparent proxy.
I'm not sure if I can do this, especially after reading a previous post about surf protection and profile assignments.
I have my internal network that I want a default profile applied to but need a different profile assigned to several specific workstations. It appears that these profiles do not work like a packet filter, rather and either/or list. If I read the other post correctly I cant have a default policy for the internal network and then another one for specific machines on the internal network. Is that true?
Is it possible to accomplish this w/o having to go to a proxy configuration or user authentication?
