With V6.x this Problem doesn't exist.

There are so many ways to analyse the problem:

- Install Firebug to identify the problem: http://www.getfirebug.com/
- Analyze the HTTP traffic via Wireshark (former Ethereal)

But first make sure you have the newest version of firefox installad, some of the 1.5er minor releases have varios litte bugs...

The "Problem" was / or is: P2P Control status ON.
In this Case Firefox (my Firefox) didn't work with a couple of Websites....

The P2P blocking (nothing more than IPS rules) does cause issues with some websites... in my case, my home page, www.securityfocus.com, refused to come up... the EDonkey rules were blocking it.  The End User Portal also failed, the WinMX rules were blocking it.  I've reported these events to Astaro support, hopefully they'll revamp those rules. Oh... and I was using IE7, so it's not really browser specific, except maybe that some sites may be pulled differently by different browsers, so the traffic may look different enough to the IPS to not cause it to "trip" when using a different browser.
