VISTA, IE 7 Proxy ASG 6, AD authentification

Hi,

Wen i connect me whit VISTA and  IE 7 or Mozilla, the PROXYES HTTP  authentification from ASG 6.303 in MODE Active Directory/NT Domain Membership no Work, Faild, bud wenn is switch of Transparent authentification mode, work fine.

Symptom:

    When using Vista and NTLM Authentication the browser will not authenticate with the HTTP proxy and no websites can be viewed.

Cause:
    A policy set by default in Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP 64-bit and Windows Vista called Network Security: LAN Manager Authentication Level being set to use NTLM v2 Responses.

    Astaro's HTTP proxy running in NTLM mode requires LM responses.

Resolution:

    ASG changes required: None

    In Microsoft Vista:
    Go to Control Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Local Policy >> Security Options >> Network Security: LAN Manager Authentication level.
    This setting must be set to Send LM & NTLM Responses, use NTLM V2 if negotiated.

Hi,

I found this knowledge base article before I wrote my question, I had switched the LM/NTLM-Auth level as described but it seems that it will not work - but I had another problem (that I do not want to tell [:)] ). So, just forget all about it ;-) 
It works fine now (IE 7 + Vista + Mozilla + ASG 6.304)....

Will ASG7 use NTLM v2 and 1 (backward compatibility)?
I would hate to have to make this change manually on all of my Vista workstations (we only have a few right now).
