Spyware dedected and blocked?

Spybot is reporting there is spyware - so... what does the specific piece of spyware do that Spybot is detecting? 

You sure it's actually talking to web sites, using http?

I don't know, what that spyware does, but I was wondering, that ASG does not give a notice, when it is downloaded. 
In the ASTARO-brochure it is mentioned, that WebSecurity recognizes outgoing calls of spyware, but also prevents downloads of spyware.

So when I reviewed the daily reports for four different boxes for several month, and found not one single occurence of a download attempt, it seems to be a bit unrealistic, or not?

BTW blocked viruses are in the hundreds per day.

Heavily depends on the surf behavior of your users. 90% of my customers are at 0 dropped spyware in the last 30 days, but I got a couple who are around 150 attemps in the last 30 days.

i got the same behavior on my asg220 (version 6.303).
I can remember that a few month ago (maybe april or may) in the executive Reports was shown a "0" under blocked Spyware ... but since august or september in this row is only shown a "-"

I`ve testet the reaction of the ASG by visiting the sites astalavista.box.sk,
cracks.am and some other sites like that. Are there Spyware-connections for sure?!... i think so. Or has somebody a site to test? but it seems the astaro doesn't recognize that. [:S] 

Any opinions / suggestions / comments?

Well... let's see. We've done some testing since we're a Sophos reseller (as well as Astaro). Normally, you could go to any warez site, and a lot of **** sites, and many of those will attempt to download spyware to your systems.

did you try to do search with "temp" word ?
So close all connections and do it,
clear all files in temp folders,
in all temporary internet files folders and for the index.dat files use the edit procedure with notepad and .....to do a better thing use linux Debian.
