Stopping HTTP access for one computer

I have a terminal server that I would like to allow access to email servers but not have internet browsing.

I thought I could setup a rule that drops HTTP packets but that doesn't seem to work.

I have defined the computer, made a rule not allowing HTTP to that computer and turned it on.

What else can I do to stop basic internet browsing on a specific computer but still allow email access?

Thanks,
Chass

  • Hi chass,

    If you use HTTP proxy,
you must avoid the host from "Allowed Networks" in http proxy settings.
or include the host in "Skip source/destination networks".
  • Thank you. I noticed that I didn't have a "Skip source/destination" in my version 5 so I downloaded and installed version 6. When I added the specific workstation to the skip section it no longer had internet browsing access.

    Thanks for the tip!
