Some Downloads don't go trough Virus Scanner

I am currently work with a 6.303 with virus protection. But some downloads
won't go trough the virus scanner window from astaro, instead they start directly as a regular download. This happens also on https sites.

Any Ideas ?

    It's my understanding that downloads of 1MB and larger will go through the scanner window, smaller ones are scanned on the fly.

    The problem here is that the connection from https is encrypted, so the antivirus can't look inside. In order for the antivirus to look inside, the proxy would have to be the endpoint, decrypting the connection, then create a secure connection to your computer within the LAN before passing the data to your machine (otherwise your banking info would be vulnerable to anyone inside the network with a sniffer). It would also have to have functionality to alert you to any security certificate descrepencies, they way your browser normally would. 

    I don't know if this is available if you set the HTTP proxy to use authentication, but it sure would be nice if it did.
