Livestream with Transparant Proxy/Content Filter

Hi all,

When I want to look with Microsoft's media player to a livestream it can't get the stream. I found out that the content filter with Virusscanning is blocking it. When I turn off "Virus protection for the Web" I do get the stream but when it's on I don't get the stream. I also placed the URL in the white domain list but this didn't help. Anyone any suggestions????

  • What I did to fix this was to add the following to the Content Scanning URl whitelist...

    \.asx
    \.mov
    \.flv
    \.swf

Should also let you view the other types of streaming media as well

    good luck
