Where are the Downloads are stored

Hi,

when i make an Download thru the http Proxy this downloaded File will be stored on our ASG 320 an beeing checked for Viruses. After this i can Download it.

What happens when i downloaded the file. It´s already beeing stored on the ASG and where?

    The Download will be deleted after the user has download the file to te PC.
    The Temp dir for the files is: 

    /var/storage/chroot-http/tmp

    Have i to do an Cleanup anytime? Is there any Way to find out what wool_xxx ist what file? When any User downloaded any File an need it again, can i give him from this directory?

    Normally Astaro delete the files after the download, so it's not easy to copy them! And if you have a lot of downloads, i think it's really hard to find out, witch one is the file you need.
    Possible the files are also stored in a other directory (function of the Proxy)!

    Ok thanks for the Reply.

    atm ther are about 270 MB. Every Download that was taken is stored there.
    When does ASL cleanup this?
    Or is this to do manually?

    ASG Software handles the temporaray files in the proxy fully automatically. They get stored for an amount of time in case the same file is requested again so it does not have to be downloaded from the internet twice. But ASG Software notices in time if the available space gets too small and then cleans up the files. There is really no need to care about this manually or if there is a need in your case there is going something wrong.
