this is a follow on from a general question i asked, but here seems the most appropriate place to go into more detail
the v6 manual states (5.1.8.4) that if one uses SAM for logon in a network with a PDC (like mine) then the drawback is that the system does not distinguish between different user groups. "You can either allow all users in a SAM database access to a proxy or none of them"
i can live with that, i want all my users to have access to the http proxy for URL filtering purposes - but i do need to be able to define different filtering profiles for different users
so ...... can i allow all users in my PDC/SAM database to authenticate to the Astaro gateway with the same single logon they use to authenticate to the PDC and still assign URL filtering profiles on a per user basis in this way ???
