problems with http proxy in asg

using asg 120 v6. find out that http proxy do not work as one day before, either we do not made any changes in configuration. user report to us that they have problems to visit some web sides with msg: the requested url could not be retrive. we changed ie settings that user can surf whitout using proxy and everything was fine, but if we want to use proxy of asg problem still exist. we only use caching. mode is standard, content filter is disabled. either we have cleared our proxy cache and restart the asg we can visit only some websides and some not. [:S]dea

    DNS working, but wondering why we can ping goole.de, but not ebay.de or heise.de for example. same problem we have with ie-browser. some webside are "working" some not - if we use proxy.

    What forwarders did you enter in the DNS-Proxy section of the Astaro. 
    (Sorry for riding on DNS, but such a problem is typical DNS trouble)

    btw. think www.ebay.de is not ping visible. ;-) But heise.de and google.de should be ping visible. 

    Also check the packetfilter, IPS and http accessed sites (turn logging to full under the http-proxy features) log.
