Are there any limits or restrictions on the number of entries that can be stored in Whitelist Domains or URL White/Black lists? What is the maximum if any?
There are no limits (that the sales people are aware of.) That was an important question I asked before purchasing since I was migrating from a 3Com box that only last a year and a half before filling up its memory chip and becoming useless. I currently have 778 items in the Astaro blacklist and they all work.
Thanks much. One of our customers asked us this question. Information of this type is not documented anywhere as far as I know. It's useful knowing that these lists can accomodate large numbers of entries.
Guess its somewhere near 65k entries, but could be wrong. But if you have many requests going on, everything above 500 will slow down the repsonse of the proxy.
