I am currently running Astaro 5.211 with Novell LDAP for User Auth and the Content filter turned on. I have no problems with that running right now. I have three seperate profiles called HttpGeneral, HttpAdmin, and HttpIT.
I am running Novell 6.5 and I have setup Edirectory for my User Auth.
2 things I need to do.
1. Replace the machine I have now with a new Dell PowerEdge 1850 server. Which I have been able to successfully install and restore a backup to this machine. (this is not what I am asking help on)
2. Upgrade to the latest 6.201 from 5.211. I have done this on the new machine without any errors.
My problem is with the Content web filtering. I was able to successfully change the User Auth from Novell LDAP over to Edirectory for authentication which is a very nice feature by the way. I am able to authenticate without any problems.
But, when I turn on the filtering the Authentication stops all together. I never get a box to pop up at all. As soon as I turn off the filter and try to connect again the auth box shows up.
My profile Assignment is setup like the following.

cn=HttpGeneral,o=ADMIN
cn=HttpAdmin,o=ADMIN
cn=HttpIT,o=ADMIN

I am at a loss. I am an MCSE NOT a CNE. So, the lack of my Novell expierence is hurting me here. Why it works without a problem in version 5 and doesn't in version 6 I don't know.
I can tell you that all 3 groups are located in what I guess is called the root of the NDS. Other words when I open the tree and then expand the context ADMIN I see the groups. [:S]
