Situation:
LAN with one FTP server that has to be accessible from outside the LAN
Gateway: ASG120 with configured http-proxy
I can read a lot about protected http-/ftp-Traffic if you are in the LAN and have to access http and ftp-sites outside.
Now I have a situation where a ftp server in the LAN is accessible from outside and the question is: "Is the traffic when someone from outside transfers a file via ftp to the ftp server in the LAN protected via http-Proxy virus scan ?
The license includes WebSecurity.
I configured:
a policy routing in Network >> Routing
a NAT rule (source and destination NAT)
>> possibly now easier with generic proxy, but runs anyway
http proxy: standard mode with profile for "any".
Who can tell whether ftp transfer from outside is virus protected via the astaro ?
Cheers
Christo
